I had EA try to tell me this several times after Battlefield 4 launched.
I ran a UOTrace, to show it wasn't on my end, and they still tried to tell me it was on my end. The emails from their tech support began to border on ridiculous. One rep would say no its not your internet, then I would get an email from another saying they had looked over my UOTrace and it was my internet.
Fortunately I'm not a dummy and when I called the 2nd rep out on the misinformation he gave me, he closed the ticket. I had this happen several times before I just gave up and chalked it up to a bad purchase.
