Hey, the location of your Titanfall 2 folder, the one with your main game files, shouldn't be an issue.
To double-check, do you have a savegame.sav file at My Documents\Respawn\Titanfall2\profile?
I had the exact same problem. running as admin, disabling Antivirus had no effect. however disabling Onedrive did the trick for me, I don't know what it was, but Ondrive would show me that it had backedup the Respawn/titanfall2 folder, but it was not being created in the mydocumetns folder, after disabling Onedrive everything seems to be working fine.

Hi, David.
Finally I've got some time to play TF2. It's 26.11.2017 now. And i still got this issue. Are you kidding? Disable OneDrive, Run As Admin... I'm working in gamedev and i can say, that EA/Respawn game support is one of the most worse in the world. I know what i'm talking about...
You should be ashamed with that.
