Community Admin@TeamLEE1558 Hi, Titanfall 1 is online-only, there's no local or offline gameplay outside of the tutorial.
The campaign for the game is actually a series of player vs player matches, with some AI allies & enemies.
Sorry to be the bearer of bad news, but I hope this clears things up.
Thank you for your reply. Two follow up questions:
1) Even though Titanfall 1 is online only, I am still unable to "PLAY" due to the profile message.. "multiplayer is unavailable for this profile". So, do I need to create a new profile to play online? Or, do I have to sign up for XBOX GOLD or some other online account
2) Does Titanfall 2 allow local or offline play?

For question 1, yes you would need an adult account with an active Xbox Live Gold subscription. You can find more info here: https://support.xbox.com/en-US/xbox-one/xbox-live/connecting-to-xbox-live
2: Titanfall 2 has a single-player campaign, yes. It's quite well-regarded and I personally have played through it about 5 times.
That said there is a lot of online content for the game, including a 4-player online-only co-operative mode.
