@roguecaliber I take it you're on PC? You mention, rebinding, you try binding it to something completely unused and check again? Perhaps some other function is getting primacy over sprint, if you're using bindings that are commonly used.
Can I check if this affects single player and MP?It might also help to repair the game. You can get this repair option by right-clicking the game panel in Origin.

None of the above worked for me. As soon as I moved past the kill Kane level (part 2?) in the singleplayer campaign on PC, I was able to sprint like normal. A search of this problem did not turn up many sources but someone mentioned that the Kane level is bugged and they had to wall hop everywhere, just like I did. Now, everything is working fine.
