I'm getting the same error. I tried everything still shows "origin is offline".
EA_Illium@Fat_Neutron To confirm do you still have the older Origin PC client or are you playing from the new EA App?@EA_Illium I recently bought tf2 from Steam and I never installed ea software before. So I have the new app.

To confirm is the EA App online? If so can you try updating your status from online to something else then back to online?
If this continues can we try the workarounds shared in a thread here?

@EA_Illium I tried changing the status still not working. I also tried changing the password still not working.

To confirm have you already tried resetting your EA account password? (you can do so at help.ea.com)
Also, can we try the following:
- Repair/Verify your game based on which client you are launching from
- EA App - Repair (My Collection > Tile Dots > Repair)
- EGS - Repair (Library > Tile dots > Manage > Verify)
- Steam - Verify in your library
- EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
- Flush or try changing your DNS (Connection and Advance Connection Guides)
- Try running the TF2 desktop icon as admin.
If this continues, would it be possible to get a bit more information about this?
