Regen Challenges

I'm currently a Prestige 2, Level 50 and want to regen to Prestige 3, but it is telling me I have to complete some challenges first. It looks like it is saying that I have to complete the entire group of challenges for 2 different Tier II categories. It looks like I have completed all of my challenges for my EVA Shotgun, which seems like it would meet the requirement of one of the categories. However, it looks like the other category where it wants me to have completed all of the Tier II challenges is with the 40mm Cannon in a Titan. First of all, I hate fighting from inside of a Titan. Second of all, through my entire Generation 1 and Generation 2 (all 50 levels of each), I have never had my Titan equipped with the 40mm Cannon, so none of the challenges have even begun to complete, so I'm basically on 0 out of 10 on just the first ones. It looks like it would want me to kill 50 total Titans with the 40mm Cannon and 200 total kills (Titan or other) with the 40mm cannon. I'm sitting at 0 and I don't want to use the 40mm Cannon. I just want to regen to Prestige 3. It would make me not even want to play the game any more to have to be forced into playing in a way I hate (from inside the Titan), and using a weapon I don't even want to use (the 40mm Cannon). So here are my questions.

1) Is there any way I can just go to Prestige 3 and not have to do any stupid challenges that I don't want to do? I was really looking forward to just regenerating and then being able to spend a whole day blowing through the first 20 levels, because it is so much fun levelling up fast when you regen. But no, instead I can't regen and now I'm faced with having to do something totally unenjoyable that I don't even want to do instead.

2) If I have to complete challenges to be able to regen, can I change to something that does not involve being inised the Titan? I hate fighting from inside the Titan, so I never do it, so I suck at it, and it is something I just have no desire to get good at. I like to drop my Titan in, take a hardpoint, and then leave him there to guard it while I'm taking or defending other hardpoints.

3) If I can't do #1 or #2 and am forced to complete challenges involving the Titan, can I let my Auto Titan do it while I'm doing other things? Or, do I only get credit towards the challenges if I'm actually in the Titan?

The challenges must be completed to regen, and they can't be bypassed.

I'm pretty sure auto-titan kills count towards the total. Since you're level 50 , you'll have the Guardian Chip. Turn this on and let your titan get down to business.

Some regen requirements seem crazy. I've seldom heard someone say they feel they are just right. In my case unless some thing radically changes ( meaning my bugged account gets fixed) I'll never get to regen 4. But with my skill set and issues I see no way short of cheating I could ever kill 50 ejecting pilots. (I have 4 kills after 3 regens and max lvl.) I'm simply unwilling to cheat to get the achievement unlocked. I don't mind challenges that are just going to take time (1000 grunts killed, run over, killed with weapon A, B, X, Y, Z). The book says Gen 10 50 is reserved for only yhe most dedicated players. I think honest players using natural skills ( whatever lvl they might be) would need months and months to make that. (Makes you wonder when I have met a few 6 + gens that claimed they did it in less then 10 days.)

You get better at it. I'm Gen 5 now and when I first saw that challenge I cried lol. I literally tried for matches and matches to get one ejecting pilot lol, couldn't do it for the life of me. I now have 12 and I got that in one maybe two days of playing, maybe about 3 hours a day. You get better as you try new techniques and learn how to actually do it, don't get me wrong, I don't really agree with it and it's still a headache. As for your 40mm cannon set, I would recommend using guardian chip on your pilot load out to make your auto titan smarter. You'll get there eventually. Don't use the burst fire attachment (at least I didn't) that one did not take me long at all. Now when you have to use the plasma cannon....now that sucks. Use the instant shot for that, or have fun getting owned. That is literally the worst gun in the game. Anyway I hope that helps or gives hope that it is possible. As far as what I've found for the ejecting pilots, definitely use the chain gun, no accelerator, and when they eject you can't over adjust your crosshair. You kinda have to expect where they are going to start falling and continuously fire, if you did it right they will fall right into your fire and there you go....Anyway best of luck

As I have said SEVERAL times I have a bugged account. I am stuck with 1 titan and 1 pilot load out. No matter WHAT I choose from private or public lobby. I'm sure if I could equip the rail gun or Arc Cannon to complete my regen requirements it would be much easier to pop ejecting pilots.

Thank you all for your quick responses and input. I really appreciate it. Even though this wasn't the answer I was looking for, It helped to feel some of you commisserating about your own experiences. Wow! There is a challenge where you have to kill 50 ejecting pilots? Yikes! Man, I had already wondered how this guy had gotten to Prestige 10 in 3 days and 9 hours and that was before I knew you had to complete these specific challenges before you could move to the next Prestige. Knowing these challenges are there now, I find this impossible, unless the guy is just unbelievably super human or something. I mean this would require the fastest learning ability on the planet and almost perfection in execution. Thanks again for all of your advice and help.
