Stuck Searching For Match!

I have played quite a bit of Titanfall 1. Just bought T2 (August, 2017) and haven't been able to play ONCE! Stuck in an inifite "Searching For Match" spinning wheel which never gives ANY responses no matter how many hours I let it search. Seriously: bought the game a week ago, tried to play everyday, and have not yet played this game. Even selecting EVERY mode for mixtapes does nothing. It just searches endlessly and I'm so freakin' pissed, man! My experience with the campaign was SO great, and I have such fond memories of T1, but this is honestly poisoning the whole thing for me.

Please offer a solution. I've heard it has to do with a patch called Angel City?!?

EDIT: and NO, this is NOT an internet problem. My router's good and my ping is 20ms, I'm right next to the São Paulo server. Please help.

EDIT: I've been looking at the CHAT help screen for three hours, now, and nothing. I want an answer on this, I want someone to be accountable for this game I bought (which isn't cheap in Brazil) and simply does not work. I'm SURE it's not a matter of lack of players, not to this extent. Maybe not finding the exact game you want regularly, but being able to play NOTHING for a whole week of trying consistently? This is a fault on the part of the product, not on my part and not on the part of the players. I would like an answer on this. Thank you!

    @LittleViktor Thanks for the post. I'd be interested if swapping Data Center has any effect.

    In the other thread it appeared to be account-related so if you have any friends with the game they could try from your account.


    It's also worth seeing whether the game & Origin are being blocked by your security software. It might not be the issue, but it's definitely worth double-checking.

    I guess my question at this point is how to go about going through the same procedure this other user went through to get my account verified by the studio because since I'm in Brazil I can't exactly call the US call center. Is the Chat windows my only other way? And if so, are there better hours where I can find someone to help me?

    Ok, so, I've managed to connect on the South Carolina Server, which ran fine, except it has MASSIVE ping for me (like over and around 300), because I'm in the south in Brazil. Meanwhile, the São Paulo servers have 19ms ping and I can't seem to connect to them. So it really is not a local problem, it's some sort of account or authorization problem. The only thing playable right now is Border Defense (which is awesome!) but I want to play the whole game, lol! Who can I talk to about this, David?

    P.S.: Last time I had a problem with an EA game, it was a "EA_David" who helped me, if it's you again, let me just ask: are you like my guardian angel by any chance?

    P.P.S.: Last time was also a localization problem, I wanted to play a game in English and couldn't because I had bought it here. I have an eerie feeling this is the same problem: localization. Something to do with account authorizations and geographical locations. Correct me if I'm wrong.

    So I'm clear, can you play Frontier Defense on the Sao Paulo server? I know it's a very popular mode so it may be snapping up most Brazilian players.

     I assume trying the different Sao Paulo datacenters have no effect on MP matchmaking? Checking on my game I get 3 options in that region, perhaps toggling through will have an effect?

    I don't think this is an account issue, if it was you would likely be prevented from playing entirely. As you can connect to a different server it sounds like a regional issue. 

    And yes that was me you were talking to before about MEA, hi again. 🙂

    No, I meant: nothing on the Sao Paulo servers work. But I can connect to the South Carolina servers though with massive lag. So you can't really play multiplayer because of the response times, but you can play Frontier Defense because the AI opponents are slower. That's what I meant. It's playable. But playing pilots is definitely not playable. By the time you see them, it's too late. I assumed an account problem because it's not possible that the São Paulo servers are just NOT FUNCTIONAL, right? On the other that I can play on other servers means it's not on my end, so I assumed some sort of authorization error. Come Monday I'm gonna try the Chat again, and if nothing works, find a way to call the American call centers. I want to get redirected to the Studio, like that other dude. I think it's the same kind of problem.

    I don't know what's up with the chat help! I've been waiting for a representative for hours! This is the 4th time in a row, what do I do?!?
