tf2 steam ea desync?

recently purchased tf2 through steam, having played it on ea through game pass about a year back. whenever i try opening it, it shows the image below, and doesn't display as being in my installed library on ea even though i have it installed on steam. additionally, when i select it in my ea library, it only gives me the option to manage addons and purchase a different edition, not install or play it. its been like this since last night and i have no clue what the problem is.
