Titanfall 2 Cannot connect to multiplayer servers in main menu

I've purchased this game in hopes of playing the multiplayer but in the main menu I am unable to launch multiplayer. It's stuck on "Contacting Respawn Servers", I've read multiple fixes online such as disabling unused network adapters opening specific ports, allowing it through  my firewall but nothing has worked.
