1st the game goes really REALLY slow then freezes then crashes with the error message ReadPacketEntities: Failed After dismissing the error message you are back at the Main Menu. This has just started to happen, but now happens with each game today. No changes in my System, Which was working fine with TF2 for months. It smells like the same kind of shenanigans that eventually took down the TF1 game and made it unplayable. I certainly hope not.

This is happening to larger player base, its not a client issue.

It is impossible to play Titanfall 2 multiplayer. The same hacker from Titanfall 1 has brought their serves down. You either can't connect or once you do there is so much lag the game is not playable. This is NOT a problem with my connection many other players have reported this.Who's doing this?As far as we are aware, it's still the same person who's been doing the same thing for the past 3 years. Their name is Jeanue, they've used many different Origin usernames, the first being jeanue. The current name of their main Origin account is xxxTitanfailxxx, and from what we can tell, they're now in control of the Origin account NtrlBornKilla as well.The exploit has been used for years by Jeanue, which he himself lovingly called the "Atomic Bomb" in the bot's name when it joined lobbies and wasn't using the exploit to crash users. It's caused by a buffer overflow caused by the name provided by Jeanue's bots.While it's possible to fix the buffer overflow, there's a separate exploit deployed since December 2020 which crashes users even if they have the Little Boy exploit patched. This will cause the server to kick the player, and so far we're not aware of a way to fix that issue. Because this new exploit uses more bots and has a larger impact while similar to the older Atomic Bomb exploit, I opted to call it the Fat Man.Joining any global multiplayer server will result in speed mods that make it really slow to move. We have tons of reports open and EA/respawn is just ignoring the problem.

Respawn has said they are working on the issue however It has approx 3 MONTHS since the issue has been brought to their attention.

@EA_Atic Seems like it's happening to everyone. Everyone in the games I queue into reports serious lag, and then I disconnect with the error. Seems like it's a server-side issue

I played today and it worked for a few minitutes. Everyone in the match celebrated too early and I got kicked bc of the problem. I think it's improving a little but they should fix their * already

I will not hold back on how I feel about this and I don't care if I get booted from this forum for it but here it goes!
Boy! Don't these game developers just friggin * you off? They do me! They think because they code games that they are GODS, but without us, they are and have nothing!
This is complete bull! Extremely long login wait times, Massive Lag, Servers Timing out all the time, getting booted from the game for stupid errors, Servers Up, Servers Down, Servers Hacked! And this has been going on since the first time I played T2 in 2018! How much of this is my ISP? According to them none of this is their problem but it is, slow upload speeds of less than 5Mbs cause lag and extremely slow responses from the servers, but that is only part of the problem!
Except for Hackers! They plague the internet and online games so much that COVID is jealous! And don't lie to me! I have worked in the Computer Industry since 1987, I know they are out there, I know some but for the most part, hackers are narcissistic douchebags that couldn't beat their way out of the inside of a wet paper bag!
When are they going to put the blame where it belongs? This would not be happening if they were going to their jobs but I guess living the life of a "High School Adolescent" as an adult means more to these morons than making sure that they have a paycheck!
PERMENATELY REMOVE ALL HACKERS AND STOP THIS CHILDISH NONSENSE!

Good news peeps all Titanfall 2 servers appear to be up and running acceptably. THANLYOU whoever made this happen. Fingers crossed it continues. Happy Days!

@ApexDropbear I have also been able to play since yesterday on Xbox. Been playing all day pretty much because I was afraid it was only going to be temporary. It probably will be but at least for now it’s working.

@ApexDropbear Don't count your chickens yet. I was able to play a couple of matches today, but they were super laggy (I'm on PC) and when the matches end, instead of getting the normal stuff, you get kicked out to the main menu after a long wait.

The fact is - even if if it's fixed, they're still selling the first Titanfall, and it's completely unplayable. They aren't doing anything to find the guy doing it, they're just putting fires out when the community * enough, not when things initially break. (Example: Servers go down, people complain via forums, social media, and directly to EA Help for weeks being ignored until some website publishes that a fan found the problem and it's an easy fix. Oh - wait, that just happened.)

It's disgusting to me that a company would treat customers this way. Especially when you factor in the fan aspect of it - where people are passionate about the franchise and would be willing to spend a ton of cash if they'd just fix this * and keep it (it = new content) coming.

I want EA and Respawn to prove me wrong. I want them to fix it, give us more / new content, and treat the fans as they should be treated. I want to be proven wrong and to have that happen. I'd happily eat crow, spend my money, and have fun.

However - the last decade or so of experience has proven to me that they won't. EA doesn't have it in them to treat customers well. I mean, even EA Help - no live chat anymore, no direct e-mail, no phones. Just this online ticketing thing where they close down tickets without responding. Contact them on Social Media - no response, even though the different social media outlets will say "responds in an hour" - I've had one where I initially sent in the message to them on Facebook a week ago. Hit them up about every other day saying, "Where's my response?" - nothing.

They have a very long road to go down to fix their relationship with this particular customer, who's been a customer since 1982.

@Magikf1ngers Fair! You raise valid points and there is hope when these issues are continually raised.

We have Blizzard/Activision to thank for "online ticketing thing". They lost touch with the community years ago and look where its taking them.
Big profits, angry consumers, and burnt out employees. I was a long term Wow player from Vanilla. They get none of my money due to their treatment of employees for a least the last 3 years and loved that game.

I had everything. Multiple accounts. My kids could fly all the rare dragons and cruise around in an amazing open world.

Big companies have no body to incarcerate and no soul to save.

Some companies cause massive harm on a daily basis and should only be able to operate for 25 years before they need to prove they are a benefit to society or are disbanded due to the corruption and greed that breeds in them. The majority in them are hard working honest people.....just takes one! And humans sometimes make mistakes and need to throw a tantrum!

The customer service from EA is unacceptable but the bean counters have made it that way as you already know! The numbers of humans needing to be processed becomes unweildy and= a liability.

@GorgonTheRed Same here, and once you're ingame it's super laggy. Lots of stutters, rubberbanding and feels like 100+ ping. I'm glad they do sth, or the hacker lost interest, but it's still not fun to play, sadly.
