I'm having the same issue as well on Xbox one. I've opened up the ports UPD 53, 88, 500, 3074, 3075, 3544, 4500 8125, 37000-39999 and TCP 53, 80, 443, 3074. Network and Multiplayer tests all pass, all other games on multiplayer work great. It never changes so I can log into multiplayer, even after an hour.
I've tried different profiles. Made sure I was using the same email address as my EA acct. Any help on this?

I was having the same "profile not permitted" error, and solved it by updating the game from the system settings (NOT Games and Apps > Updates, no update was listed there). I went to System Settings, Storage, Manage Storage, View Contents, Updates, selected Titanfall 2 and waited for the download. All fixed now. No idea why the update was visible from inside Manage Storage but not Games and Apps.
I have tried all the solutions I’ve seen and it’s still saying this please help
