Titanfall 2 hud settings Not working on Steam deck

Play on the steam deck OLED Titanfall 2, it runs well and works except that the hud settings cannot be deactivated.

I turn off all hud settings in the game settings...but in the game all hud displays remain on despite deactivating them.

Am I not understanding something correctly or am I missing something?

I would be grateful for any solution suggestions and help.
