Titanfall 2 multiplayer locked

@themastersword08 well I'm aware of that but it doesn't mean that Respawn should have forgotten about it and not do bug fixes every now and then and actually address some of these problems.

this might be a bit of a weird request but can someone who has the game downloaded try running it with firewall off? I read that this might be a fix but I can't test myself as I don't have the game downloaded and with origin it will take 10+ hours

I have had this game for a bit and really wanted to play multiplayer because my friends recommended it to me. I decided to play but noticed it says launch multiplayer with the bottom right having a lock(image below). I decided to try many tips to fix it and it still has not worked. Does someone know a tip that helped you that not many people mentioned. 

@elitephantom21 does it stay on the lock screen or is it because it was contacting the servers?

Hi, I bought both Titanfall & Titanfall 2 (deluxe edition) as a bundle on Steam. Multiplayer is working on Titanfall (without any configuration needed) but not on Titanfall 2. I'm running Titanfall 2 thru Origin which will also start Steam. I've tried port forwarding, disabling unused network adaptors, reinstalling the game, rebooting... nothing works. I'm on windows 10 & have the latest windows updates. I've no issues with other online multiplayer games. I've attached the screenshots of the main menu. Please help. Thank you.

I just bought the game to days ago exactly on the 29 of December and have been having the same issue as all of this people in this forum, being unable to connect to multiplayer, I have done everything i could, I repaired it from the origin launcher, unistalled and installing again, seen that nothig of this worked I contacted EA Help they gave a lot of steps to follow like the troubleshoothing, erasing cache and all that, And also I am able to play any other game like Apex Legends.

I really wanted to play this game since I discoverd it around 2017 but couldn´t afford it. and now that it was on sale I was hyped but now Iam a bit let down, been waiting years to play it and this is what I got, don´t get me wrong the campaing is wonderfull but I really want multiplayer. And sorry if offended anyone, also like some have said before you said there is an investigation going but where are the solutions? Iam still going to be in the look out for anything that can help.

@Exodia504 maybe it could have also been that it was hardware differences on the PC's? Also maybe the ISP (Internet Service Provider) could have affected it? Also having the PC connected straight to the router via ethernet cable is the best bet for good connection to the game and would recommend getting an internet/wifi extender (can be referred to as a mocha box or something like that, not good with technology, which i believe should be available to buy from your ISP) near your other PC and connect to it by ethernet cable. Sorry if this doesnt make any sense but if it does, let me know if it helps!
