Basically the game has been unresponsive for about a year and a half. One day I couldn’t play it. The data center continuously searches while never finding an open serever. And the server list all shows -1 ping. I thought the servers were just down until I saw a friend playing the other day. I have an Xbox one.

Can we try some connection troubleshooting steps to see if it helps get you back online? A good place to start would be with the basic connectivity steps over at the EA Help website.
If it keeps happening after that check out the Xbox-specific steps as well. Let me know how it goes when you have a chance.
