Titanfall 2 wont stop validating

I own titanfall 2 though steam due to a sale and it being like $2 or something ridiculous. I've gotten 22 hours on it and now the game won't stop validating. Every time I try to launch it, it sends the game to validating. I tried uninstalling it, erasing all the files, reinstalling it, clearing ea cache, and nothing works. The game will not launch and will only validate. I'm sick and tired of ea not responding to steam. And before you ask, yes I linked my accounts together. I've tried everything the ea help bot has told me to. I need help from a real ea rep.

    Can we give the following a try when you have a moment?

    1. Run the System File Checker tool, then Check for Windows and GPU updates
    2.  Repair the game files in the EA app. Go to the Library and find your game. Click the Manage icon, then click Repair.
    3. Clear EA App's Cache (Top Left Menu > Help > App Recovery)
    4. Check if any background applications are stopping the EA app or your game.
    5. Launch Steam, EA app, and TF2 as an admin

    I ended up buying the game right from EA. And it worked just fine. Super infuriating. Will not be buying any more ea games in the future

    @EA_Illium I also have this issue and have been trying to fix it for 3 days now. I put 7 hours into the game I bought on steam, and have tried every single “solution” offered by EA as well as anything I could find elsewhere. Nothing works. What started as an endless cycle of “activate your game, displayname jot found” turned into “you have attempted to register this device too many times” to this endless validation cycle. I have reached out to steam and let them know they are selling games that EA can’t get to run. I still have no way to launch this game. The fixes offered here do not do anything. After a brief search it seems this is the same problem that has been happening since…2021, so 3 years now and no solution? The common denominator is the EA app.


    Is there a solution for the software many of us have purchased from EA but are physically unable to use? What happens when we purchase something from a company but it doesn’t work? I have lots of every attempt from EA not working.

    i have found a solution the EA App is the problem it does not recognize that Titanfall 2 has been installed via steam the work around you have to download the original ORIGIN client and download the * off EA files from github windows will read it as a virus but I promise you it isn't, this worked for me and it was my last resort
