This is Answers HQ, not the Help Center. We are game players discussing EA games. We sell nothing here, we buy nothing here. We do not decide what is or is not distributed by Microsoft. Answers HQ is totally based on the Self-Help pattern, and there is nothing an individual member can do to cure problems created at the company management level.
Complaining in here is a waste of your time.

Good - then this seems like the place to share information concerning the Companion App, which has been written and published by EA games.
As publishers, EA are the only people who are able to answer questions concerning their applications. Just because someone mentions Microsoft doesn't require such a rude response.
- You should tell EA support in that case - they suggested asking here. The Titanfall twitter account is also sending people to ask EA about it. So what were you saying about Microsoft?
Now spent around 3 hours on chats with EA and Microsoft, and no-one seems to want to take ownership of this problem. Microsoft rightly state that they are not responsible for games being published/removed, so it is down to EA.... but afetr 2 hours on various chats with EA, I have had a "we know about it" response and immediately after this a "speak to Microsoft about it, it's not our problem". Come on EA, at least tell us what is happening!

Still getting the "not available" message when I try to install it.

The error has been sent on to those responsible, I guess there's nothing to do but wait until they fix it.

Nothing has changed to alter what kind of place Answers HQ is supposed to be.

In case anyone who has viewed this thread in the past has had this problem, it appears the problem has been fixed - been able to download it both to my laptop and my Surface.
