After installing Titanfall TWO times, It still comes up with a black screen and when I go to my desktop screen it says the game engine failed because it couldnt allocate to server IP Ports. I even tried allowing them inbound thru FIrewall. I need assistance I really want to play and I feel duped of my money.

Have gone through the steps to allow the TF ports and the same thing has happened as before so please may you help us so we may be able to enjoy the game instead of wasting $60 on the game. Thanks

I also have a netgear router and am having this same issue. Would appreciate more feedback from EA reps.

Using Microsoft's advice on checking ports, I used https://www.microsoft.com:8125/ and https://www.microsoft.com:443/ to check if required ports were open. 443 checks good, while 8125 tries to load and eventually times out. A port with no connectivity gives "This page can not be displayed" immediately, so it seems it may been an issue with some other program using 8125?Not much of a network guy, but hopefully this is somewhat useful...Also, I did create rules for the ports recommended by EA for titanfall here: http://help.ea.com/en/article/online-ports-to-open-for-titanfall/

I had this problem and then i formated my computer and every thing is working smoothly. good luck

I would really hate to go through the process of formatting. With the weekend pretty much over i'll wait a bit to see if there is a better solution.

Well i got mine working. Not sure what i did though. I checked my windows update and noticed that was not working. So after messing with a ton of things i got windows update to work and now titanfall works. So whoever is having this problem check your windows update and see if that is on and working.

I also removed scorpion saver during the process. However it was not easy to uninstall, i had to use something from microsoft support i found online. I'm on my phone right now so i cant get the link. I am just throwing stuff out there that i did to my pc that can now finally play thia game.

I too suffered this same issue until i gave in and took the advice to completely reboot my computer to factory settings and for the first time in a week after buying the game it finally works!! I know it the thought of a reboot really sucks but its worth it and it gives you the chance to start with a fresh operating system so if your having this issue i suggest putting all your stuff and an external hard drive and do a system recovery.
