After installing Titanfall TWO times, It still comes up with a black screen and when I go to my desktop screen it says the game engine failed because it couldnt allocate to server IP Ports. I even tried allowing them inbound thru FIrewall. I need assistance I really want to play and I feel duped of my money.
i installed it onto my MSI laptop and it worked on there. I had my firewall and antivirus on (Both same antivirus kaspersky). The only difference between my two laptops are the graphic cards. The one it worked on was 285M, while the other is 280M, both nvidea.I used the same router and didn't mess with the ports. Both windows 7 x64, and both installed on secondary hard drive in the laptop. Hopefully this helps diagnose the problem
Could the command line arguments option in origin be used to change the default ports that titanfall is trying to connect too? changing the ports that a game is trying to connect to has fixed the engine error: cannnot allocate server IP port issue before but those were with games on steam. Not sure on what to enter but if anyone does that might help.
Okay ive been actively trying to fix this everyday for awhile now EA help isnt trying anymore. Im not even able to speak with someone over the phone. After emailing back and forth and speaking with their "specalist team" they told me that it has to be some software I installed so it isn't their fault even tho alot of people are having the same issue. No response from any email after that. At this point I dont beleive they can fix it and I just want my money back or even credit to get another game in origin. Really wanted to play Titanfall. I feel stupid buying a broken game. I hope ther is eventually a fix I check this forum and a few other ones everyday too see if its figured out but nothing.
