Titanfall screen freezes at beginning of match

Why is Titanfall freezing? Seconds after a Titanfall match starts my screen and my console freeze. I can't even go to my Home screen on my Xbox360. I have been unable to play the past two days because the game, and my console, always freeze.

That issue is mostly related to your hard-drive and in some cases to your game disk aka the laser of your console. Could you please tell us what kind of hard drive you have in your console? Some information about your general console model could help as well.

Some players reported that formatting the console HD helped to solve this issue. If you try this step, please make sure that you backup your files on an external flash drive before proceeding.

    Please keep us updated.

Nope. Didn't work. Followed instructions in order. Still getting error that HD content could not be optimized.

I don't get it. Do I need a new game disc?

Turns out the disc was scratched. Had to buy new Titanfall game disc. But I'm playing again. So all is good. Thanks for your help.
