I have the same problem since my preorder came last saturday,havent seen gameplay at all.MY spec are roughly the same,only my graphics is AMD Radeon hd5800,I have been going throough all the troubleshooting,been everyday in live chat with EA advisors,I was promised a detailed look from a team of specialists,but havent been contacted since☹️

I opened ports,I cleaned with CC tool,dx diag and etc etc.Game crashes in main menu and just throws me back to desktop.The only thing I can add in the topic is that once every 10-15 tries I get stuck at the loading screen with the starships,and after I do ctrl+alt+del I have a message at the desktop saying "Engine error " at top,and then in the box it says "MOdel models/weapons/arms/pov_male_anims.mdl not found and models/error.mdl couldnt be loaded"
