Forum Discussion
Just to chronologically recap since my original post...
- Game doesn't work as noted in the original post.
- Xbox 360 on the router's DMZ (i.e. all router functions taken out of the equation and ALL ports open).
- Battlefield 4 multiplayer plays great, never having a disconnect.
- I've performed the UOTrace and get a 100% packet loss after it hits Washington state and goes to one specific EA(?) host (159.153.225.2).
- UOTrace has no packet loss everywhere else and ping times are always below 70ms and averages about 50ms.
- I'm tracing from eastern Iowa.
- I've installed the ~60MB update just yesterday (4/23/14), then did items 8-10.
- Cleared the Xbox 360 system cache.
- Reset the Xbox 360 system clock.
- Deleted and redownloaded my gamertag.
- Game still doesn't work as noted in the original post.
This is frustrating to say the least. In addition to that it takes their customer service representatives multiple days to come back with something new to try.
I wish they would just acknowledge the Xbox 360 connectivity issue and give us status updates on its resolution.
I pre-ordered this game and have tried to play it every day since launch and have NEVER been able to play a single match. From my perspective... $60 was paid for a game that by the time it's working the retail price will have dropped to $45 and used prices will likely be below $30. In essence, EA has and continues to steal money from me by the constant devaluing of a game I paid full price for and haven't been able to play by no fault of mine.
Me too.
What's the first thing we all see when the game loads? .........please contact us at EA HELP for any issues we may be having in the game.
I dont know why im wasting my time yet again posting my concerns on this site. When no ea rep has commented on this thread.
Same old **bleep** different day. Very dissapointed EA.
