- Not necessarily required, certainly would not effect the gameplay.
The question should be "Will Disney support the game?" - Ea owns the rights still. Besides Ea ha done deals with Disney with Star Wars.

Disney bought Fox, which owns the rights to broadcast The Simpsons - doesn't mean that they have any of the rights to the game, and probably won't lead to any noticeable difference.- Saw a pictured captioned “now that Disney owns Fox and fox owns M*A*S*H, that make Klinger a Disney princess.
- I won't be surprised if nothing changes; a lot of fully owned subsidiaries just use their own branding without mention of the parent company (although moreso in the UK than the USA).

They predict everything. :joy: - Ha I didn’t even see this thread. I really hope they don’t end this game and take everything over to the company that does that bull shirt Magic Kingdom Game. I stopped playing that after a year when everything became an obvious cash grab. That could explain why EA’s giving us everything for free now. They know that once Disney takes over the game will stop being fun when Disney makes it all about spending money, so they want to give us as much as possible before they lose control.
