that is funny cause kirk is not even used at all or seen in the story so far lol

they did that with the xmas splash screen last year, i remember being like, why is selma on this splash screen??? she didn't have any part in the event.

Given that he is a level 37 character, wouldn't expect to see him... although I guess EA could always still include him in the story in some way.

All the same, I'm happy that splash screens aren't all Homer all the time like they were before Clash of the Clones broke the trend with multiple characters on the front (or Valentines, if you count the Cupid as Bart).

its just the size of the screen. has nothing to do with android/ios
