I don't think I've ever had to look farther than the first two pages to find someone who is all in a tizzy because they "house farmers ruin the game" "house farming makes your Springfield ugly" "All my houses have a beautifully landscaped front and back yard, fence, and street access" "house farming makes you level up too fast" "house farming is wrong" "My Springfield is better than yours because I only have one of each house" and so on.
Poppycock. As I say, there has been one thread recently complaining about farming and it was a bump from a month ago. Not only that, but it was mainly the OP who was complaining, most were calmly saying that while they found it unsightly they felt that anyone could play the game however they wanted. This idea that the forum is constantly berating farmers is nonsense, you're clearly just butthurt about that one thread, which you clearly didn't even read all the way through.
Considering there are dozens of new pages of threads that have been posted to everyday (most being add-me threads) I have seen at least a dozen different threads in the last few days of people complaining about farmers (yes one of them was originally started a month ago, but it got to the first page because someone posted in that thread again) and I don't comb through all the dozens of pages of posts daily like you must. I can only assume that if I can look at a few pages of threads and find a couple dozen different threads bashing farmers, then there must be quite a few more out there. I'm sorry I upset your delicate sensitivities by not reading every singly thread on the forum and creating a completely accurate count of the number of threads on each issue. Since you are a regular here perhaps you can provide us with a completely accurate count of all the different threads.
I don't visit your Springfield for its aesthetics, I visit for money and XP (and right now Santa coins). I deleted all my neighbors who didn't have decorated houses and replaced them with people who did
How lovely. As it happens, most of us regulars here already rake in the cash and XP and do visit each other's towns for the aesthetics and to appreciate a creative, well though-out Springfield. You're free to do as you like of course.
It's great that you speak for most of the regulars, I don't care. Doesn't change my mind, doesn't make me feel compelled to make some intricate design of my Springfield just to appease your sense of how I should design my Springfield. If you don't want to decorate your house's for Christmas I'm not going to berate you for it, I'm just going to delete you and add a new neighbor. There's no reason to berate anyone for not playing the game the way I think they should.
But now I will have to move the Flanders' house so it's no longer next to the Simpson's house.
For someone who likes the Simpsons, your sense of humour is sorely lacking.
The fact that you find it completely unhumorous that I would deviate from your concept of the proper placement of houses really show's that you sense of humor is completely lacking. This assertion is backed up by the fact that you obviously missed the satirical content of my original post. For someone who deems themselves such an expert in a satirical show, seems to me you should be able to recognize satire when you see it.
