Do you feel alienated buy the aspirational items 5=$11,000,000? Their not there for you to get now, it it supposed to be a goal to get something to look forward to, to keep playing till that dame update comes out. And some of us long time players (year or two) have to much cash that we need to burn it off, and none of us have walked away. We need new goals like collections and trophies.
I have the existing aspirationals, I have all the land, I have money to burn (although not 20M just yet). If you bothered to read what I posted, you will see that my point is that people who have cash dont need a massively priced item to keep playing, you are proof, you are still playing. What everyone needs to keep them interested is lots of tasks, not 1 expensive one. What you seem to want is something that makes you feel superior, which doesnt help EA to keep everyone playing, which is what they need to do, they dont need to pander to your ego.dave3490 wrote:

This is why I loved the FP's update, it got everyone interested again and got people visiting their neighbours towns. Its also the reason I started a new post about a change to the tasks characters have, I think because the tasks are all the same from day 1 people can't be bothered with them and use 24hr tasks. If they were changed to include new (or more) outdoor tasks I think it would also bring those 24hr task fans back more regularly.
As a community the members of this forum have some amazing ideas and I think EA are starting to take notice of us :D
Yes, the FP is a good innovation for the game, and it certainly has kicked up initial interest. But too keep that going they need to gradually increase the intervals between prizes, not make a massive jump. If you keep gradually increasing it, people keep working towards it. If the prizes dry up or the intervals jump massively then people will get bored.beeblebrox900 wrote:

I'll ignore the ego discussion, but I do agree with a lot of what you're saying. I happen to have scads of pretend money at the moment, but only because of the glitches, and those no longer exist. Started playing five months ago. I was having to decide carefully whether to buy a tree or buy a shrub.
Now that the glitches are gone, some of those of us with huge amounts of cash have lost some perspective. IN MY OPINION, that is!
When Duff racer came along at $250,000 with such a brief time to buy it, I was frankly stunned. That ruled out a LOT of people. As far as keeping us rich folks able to find stuff to buy, there's no reason, in my opinion, that EA couldn't just release a bunch of $5,000,000 items. That puts it in the realm of hard-core players who happen to be latecomers to the game to at least have the opportunity to choose one at a time.
Haven't been keeping track of how much the max possible per day is for a freemium player with 100 friends. A freemium player would have a lousy multiplier for a long time. Buying and selling weather stations to increase donuts ain't an option without scads of cash. Or, at least, that's the way I see it.
Anyone want to come up with a number for me of what a freemium person with a REASONABLE multiplier could bring in each day?? I lost all grasp of reality when I triple-tapping Arnie Pye.- I would defo just play the game and work towards whatever cost the dev's put onto something like the monorail station, be it FP's, in game $$'s or whatever it may be.
I haven't ever speeded up a task using donuts (barring the times my confirm donut spend has gotten turned off and too quick a tap has started the process off - Doh!), so wouldn't start now

It would take like 1111 days tapping 100 friends without counting the FP you receive from friends and not counting that you may have friends with nothing to tap.
Have you got anything better to do for the next 3 years?- Yeah a bunch of new aspirationals is fine as long as the price is similar to what you suggest. The problem with a really big hit item is this: Lets say its 20M as suggested earlier in the thread. Ok there are lots of people who could buy that right away and still have cash to burn. So they get their 1 item, what then? Its a one hit wonder, back to nothing to play for. Then there are people who could save for a bit and get it, same problem really, although maybe a month or 2 delayed. Then there are people who are nowhere near able to get it, lets give them 6 months with nothing to buy before they get it. Whats the point of that? how many will lose interest.
- Look I know you're all worried about the monorail being introduced into the game. I understand why you would feel more than a little anxious about it all quite frankly. I mean, they say these things are AWFULLY loud, there's a chance the track could bend, that the devil sent me here to bamboozle you brain dead slobs.... But I'm telling you I'm here to make sure you don't waste your frink points fixing up Main Street! Who cares about Main Street. Here, let me open your pudding for you and well talk about this. You can even borrow my pen knife, just to show I'm on the level

I get 800 FP per day, so I am going to get 1000000 FP in ... 3 years....?.....
They won't make it that much so don't worry the OP just put a random number down his point was who would spend the time to get the FP or would speed it up.
