All of your ideas are good! However, you'd think basic stuff like traffic lights and "zebra crossings" would have been one of the first things added to the game. Someone mentioned that the characters could cross at the traffic lights and that was what I was thinking! :-D
Not so keen on the idea of traffic as it would make low end devices not be able to cope and the frame rate would drop for a lot of people. That could cause some anger in the community and we would have 100s of threads complaining about lag as well as those wheel threads! ;-)
