The gold box is the top of the range of Black Friday boxes. Initially it contained a selection of prizes, originally obtainable during some events, as a bonus for buying donuts from the store. However, this year it really contained a lot of stuff, not always first choice. The problem is that golden box prizes can only be obtained by using gold tokens; these tokens, except for one free one, are obtained by spending real money on the purchase of donuts from the store (obviously on Black Friday). THUS, the golden goose thus became a paid prize, with no certainty of getting it. Perhaps it would have been better to pay for it, rather than a random prize in a paid raffle
