A Tale of Two Towers

Why?

Grinding out goblin gold is soul suckingly slooooow. I just broke 900 which unlocked the Dormitory Tower, but the really cool, much more Halloween looking tower, the Bell Tower is over (prepare yourselves) two THOUSAND in goblin gold. 2000!

They're both towers, but if anything, this proves EA has eyes. They know the bell tower is much cooler looking than the plain, boring looking dorm tower and they're shamelessly hiking up the price for it.
Halloween is about fun, creepy thrills and bubbling cauldrons. Thanks to EA I can now add greed to that list.
  • Just had a thought. Will wands and goblin gold still be the currency in acts 2 & 3?.

Believe that the Goblin gold is a currency through the whole event but wands will only be for the first act, the second act will have it's own currency same with the third act.

Assuming they follow the usual pattern, crafting currency (goblin gold) will remain the same throughout. Wands, however, will change to something else. I'm not sure what exactly, but if you go to your friends screen, you'll see how much currency your friends have. It shows three different currencies, one for each act.

I looked but didn’t see anything showing their currency

Any idea what happens to our excess wands?

It's on the first screen, which shows three of your neighbours. Above each town is the neighbour's name as well as the amount of each currency they have earned. It's a quick way to see whether any of your neighbours are not participating in the event.

OIC! I was looking after I was actually in a neighbors town. Thanks for the clarification.
