Beasts and their lairs will be building+NPC combos after the event is over. So you'll get 9 buildings+3characters+5NPCs+2skins(?) for free. We actually get more free stuff these days not less. We were even given more options for free doughnuts.
The question was specifically about stand-alone buildings and, by contrast, character/building combos. All that other stuff you list is irrelevant to the topic.
