Advice on premium purchase

I asked earlier in another thread if the forum had a pros/cons thread. I did not see a response. Take a look at the tstoaddicts site. You can search that site for their very well done pros/cons on any item you are thinking of.

I'm also freemium with a gift of some donuts. I'm considering the Cracker Factory because of the reasons you said and because Luann has quests with a number of other characters.

    Chester and the Shed would be well down my list if you're a freemium player, since as far as I am aware he has never even appeared in an episode of the show aside from one off-screen mention. You can get a 2.25% multiplier decoration + premium character such as Dr. Nick or Bumblebee Man for a similar or probably even less than Chester's 150 donut price, with donuts left over for one of the less expensive premium buildings such as the Observatory or Aztec Theater (an added bonus with these two buildings is that they also open up premium payout tasks for several non-premium characters).

    I was a free player for little over a year...then took the plunge

    I saved up enough donuts free to buy duff and duff man

    then bought a boatload and now I have

    frinks lab with frink
    cracker factory with luann
    volcano lair with hank scorpio
    rocket car with chester lamp wick
    aztec theatre
    try n save

    plus some premium decorations

    of all those if I was buying only one and did not intend to spend more money...

    I would buy the cracker factory w/ luann...there is a long quest line, actually two different ones that unlock fleet a pita

    and luann has some cool outside task animations....


    I would not buy the unfinished shed, thats a pretty small bonus and the character is not as important in the show as others

    I'm 7 donuts away from Luann. I was saving donuts unsure of what I wanted. It came down to Sherry and Terri who come with and unlock nothing or Luann who comes with the cracker factory and unlocks the flitapita.
    She seems to be a good choice :(

    I really agree! I was just wanting them out of want but they aren't worth it.

    If you think of characters as downloadable content, Luann and the cracker factory has an enjoyable quest line. I would recommend it. If you are looking at design, I think the Aztec theater is pretty and has a nice animation. It pairs nicely with the squeaky voice teen, who has a four hour task there. His quest line is pretty basic, just quests to do his tasks. For a multiplier I would choose the tv tower for the station, gives an okay percentage, not great, but opens up a good broadcast option at the tv station. That said I might go for Frink just because I like him and darn the logic. Have fun :)

    I guess youre not interested in the limited time items like the Stonecutters stuff? I'm buying donuts soon because I want what I have left to buy, plus I have to buy Frink so I can get his outfit.

    Well by the looks of things Luann and the Cracker Factory seems to be the more popular of the two. I might also consider the Aztec Theatre and Kearney though because I hate that SVT doesn't have a shorter task and it's useful that Kearney can go to Krustyland as well. It'll probably be between those two. Thanks so much for all the guidance, you're all very helpful :D
