I'm a little confused about Skinny Palmer. He's premium, but my primary tasks seem to require him to perform a job to complete it. This is the first time I've seen an event task REQUIRE a premium character to do a task within the basic task line.

Anyone else notice this? It's like if you don't buy him you cannot complete the primary task line. I must assume freemium players don't see this obstacle. It's weird I don't remember this ever happening before. Usually you can keep the premium chars just earning extra event currency

The primary tasks for Skinny Palmer show up if you bought Skinny Palmer but if you didn't buy him then you don't get the tasks for him and you don't have to buy him to continue the event. The same thing happened with Tabitha Vixx in the No Bucks Given event since she had tasks in the main questline if you buy her but the tasks didn't appear if you didn't buy her. They are just extra tasks for Skinny Palmer to do in the main questline if you bought him.

I didn't buy Skinny Palmer and I got the final prize last night without any obstacles along the way. The 2 primary tasks for Skinny Palmer didn't prevent me from completing the event since they didn't appear for me (they would've appeared if I bought him).

It doesn't always happen but its nice to see new premium characters being involved in the primary questline instead of being sent to earn event currency, sent on tasks for his own questline and sending him on his regular tasks.
