An idea on how Golden Goose Realty could return

Here's an idea for EA to make Golden Goose Realty return to benefit everyone. Give it to those who don't have it for free and everyone else who does have it can get 150 donuts instead as a return for their donuts when they bought it last year.

Also EA, please increase the item limit. It has been 11 months since you last increased it so a large increase should be due soon rather than a measly increase of 100 items, maybe 1100, 1200 or 7000 (making the item limit total 20000) would be enough.
  • They should just make it a permanent addition to the store.
Every update I pray for a bump in the item limit, but it's a life of disappointments.
  • I don't see the GGR coming back unless there is a step change in the game. Likely simultaneously a big change to the basic mechanics so donut farming is much harder, lots more land released, the item count increased a major event with premium items that offer additional game play for cash including the GGR offered for cash. It is only going to come back along with a big push back towards pay to play.
  • I seriously can't see major changes happening to this game at this point in it's lifespan.
Adding a much wanted building that was previously released is a lot more possible I think.
  • I don't see the GGR coming back without an increase in revenue. It is not a simple building it means a lot of players expanding their Springfield and the amount of resources required to run the game.

It is an increase in costs which is not covered by collecting 150 donuts.

If the game is truly dead rubber in terms of meaningful development and revenue then there will be no GGR.
  • There is no way EA would do that. They would lose money from that. If it returned, I could see it doubling in price minimum. Maybe a gil deal, where it seems the price is cheap haha

I don't see why they would increase the cost of a building even if it is Golden Goose Realty since it will likely cause outrage unless its bundled with something else but because after June last year when EA stopped giving out land tokens during events, it made obtaining them more difficult by waiting for the daily challenge reward to be a land token which comes about once every few months. It also made GGR more valuable since its a key source for expanding land more regularly and allowing more space to place items.

I made the mistake of not buying it in those 2 weeks in January last year because I believed that the flow of land tokens would stay consistent through future events but I was wrong when the flow mostly dried up by the summer, this was a massive step back for the game. Even if EA do stop releasing content and events in the future there still shouldn't be any reason to not re-release GGR.
  • Maybe it will come back with the Springfield Heights land expansion? (not sure whether I'm being sarcastic or optimistic) :/
  • Just a shot in the dark.... Maybe with a new event tomorrow..... Nah... Well maybe
