[Android] Springfield disappeared (goodbye)

Just a word of warning to those of you playing on the Android version. I will be uninstalling and trying to get a refund for my in-app purchases (which probably won't happen). I'll think twice before sinking money into another EA game.

I definitely don't want to minimize your experience. I'm just trying to understand what happened. Are you saying that your town was gone once you managed to reconnect or that you haven't yet been successful in reconnecting?

It was gone after reconnected (it showed the intro video and started the tutorial with the empty Springfield)

I'm thinking this is happening to all Android players right now. I'm on Android and just responded to someone in the Game Status forum where the same thing happened, as well as to me. I've tried restoring from backup data that third party apps have made for me but that has proven unsuccessful. That tells me that when the game synchronizes it is also pulling the data from EA servers and still cannot reach them at the moment so that is why we've been reset. Ideally the data and donuts are still out there.

On the off chance you don't already know this, if you're going to seek a refund, don't waste your time approaching EA. Instead, contact Apple.

Wow. That would be a pretty huge problem for them. I couldn't believe they released the game on android without being able to log into origin.

Contacting Apple for a refund on Android. Now that is an email exchange I would like to see!

Seems to be a fairly common issue today.

Guess I'll have an evening off tapping then! Was working ok for me earlier though.
