Fans now drop 1x AB :) I may be able to afford to buy that football before the event ends after all! Be interesting to see what else has changed.....

Question: Can we get sports balls either
a) from tapping fans, or
b) from "catching" one which is pitched into our neighborhood?

I think the answer to both is ... we're not sure yet.
So you're no more confused than the rest of us. LP indicated that balls would be randomly be dropped by fans, but we have no indication of what point that would start at, if at all. Nobody has claimed to see one yet. I think one post indicated that, when they caught a ball in their SF from a neighbour, it just said that it was collected, but didn't give them a ball to throw back. Not confirmed yet, as far as I know.
I have tossed three balls in neighbors towns and one in my feeder town. I have not received a ball in return and my feeder town's ball also only indicates that the ball was collected. (No sender information).
