Another stupid 24 hour task before I can begin??

And I'm hearing that the gamefiles don't show the Super Collider/black hole and the Mayan stuff yet. If I don't have them by the 30th of the month I will not be happy. Especially the black hole. And I don't want to hear some clown walk into this topic saying that the episode tie-ins and Mayan stuff doesn't "make sense" to bring back. God forbid a simpsons video game or the cartoon doesn't "make sense". It's such a realistic show with such realistic video games! Just look at the arcade game, Bart vs the Space Mutants, Bart vs the World, Virtual Bart, and that game where Bart falls asleep in his homework. Those were all super realistic and made perfect sense!

Same, and really bummed I can't get the graveyard from last year :( I'm not a fan of this years' cemetery...

What happens after you build the first building? How does homer start his 24 hour task?

First, annoyingly I think it has become standard operating procedure for these events to have a first 24 hour task that unlocks the rest. It is very annoying and while I have always been content to wait this time their ploy worked and I spent 12 donuts to speed it up.

After that task is done it unlocks the event... this means the ghosts start spawning, you can start collecting goo, and haunting your neighbors springfields. There are two 24 hour Homer tasks right after the first one; however, they are *not* required to start doing everything else.. they are part of two parallel quest lines... no idea what happens after as I haven't sped these up.

No they didn't change the cemetery... there is a new "burial ground" that is part of the event. You get one for free from collecting goo but can buy additional ones for donuts (kinda like the snake rock during wacking day)
