Do wedding planners go to the actual wedding? I've never paid much attention to such things. Anyway, I'm sure John would be an excellent wedding planner if he were so inclined.neuroheart wrote:

Neuroheart knew I was a photographer and that is correct. Some wedding planners just plan the wedding, some and it cost's more, stay and run the whole day. Usually the day is run between me ( the photographer) then the DJ at the reception. If it's in a hotel, then the catering/event manager, or bridal expert is on hand as well. I shoot more than weddings though, I work for newspapers and magazines and also do a lot of corporate events and functions, so I suppose if you didn't know what I did my comments could be confusing as I have to do it all sometimes, like got to fittings with models and procure free stuff for the props, scout locations, etc... This is what makes me self employed. I'm a free lance photographer.
To Annette "Do you itemize? Do you declare the meals as a business expense? Does your accountant approve of that? Is the cake extra? " Yes I itemize, I declare as much food and beverage as is legal but I didn't pay for the cake so I don't get to deduct it. And about watching those bouncing knives at a wedding I take the fifth. And after a wedding I take a fifth.

If anyone really cares, I just shot two covers for a local art/music newsweekly. One cover I got for sure the other one is 99 percent sure, but we used 4 photogs and only 2 covers are being printed, we usually just do one cover but I think I got one of the two being printed. I can't share them now but maybe I can put them in off topic after they run.johncolombo wrote:

That sounds fun! :-)
Yeah, I do love the way this thread took a MASSIVE detour! :lol:luckyzl230 wrote:
Has anyone noticed that the trophy icon in he bottom right next to the friends icon moves up then back to its normal position every 20 seconds? Its sorta like it shakes up and down?
Why yes, look up a few posts

I don't have anything ready to craft or enough for the next prize and just cleared my town of corn, no sound for seeds either.
Does it just bounce just because?
I only noticed it bounce once that I can remember and I could have sworn I had earned some of the event currency when it happed. Will pay more attention to it.
Edit: I watched it for a few minutes. It bounces every 20 seconds. It's probably just a reminder for us to click it to see our progress as all the event related tasks and prizes are in there. And to freak us out. Thanks for the thread now I constantly look at it. "

Huge detour! And congrats on the covers!!!
Neuro- like John said- depends on what their paid - but if your paying they are @ the wedding and stuff to deal with caterer fiascos and such for you..... - The Icon bounces when you have enough Fertilizer/Corn to craft one of the items in the list. This is a typical action seen in several of the past similar quests events.

I didn't have anything to craft at the time either and I don't remeber bouncing anything from previous events with crafting.
