Are random tasks a thing of the past?

Again... not complaining because I found them extremely annoying and would often get in the way. Just thought it was weird not to have any for weeks now. (now I've jinxed myself... Homer will want to watch the marathon and he'll be needed to trigger the Christmas update) If I happen to get a random task now, it'll be placed on hold
