I started in July of 2014, so this Halloween event is my first experience with the trees changing in the game. I get the idea of winter/snow in the town... But how does Springfield vegetation differ in the Spring from that in the Summer?
As for real life, I'm a San Diego, CA native. I've lived here most my life (consecutively since 1986), but for a few years in my youth (from about '75-86), my family moved around a lot. I lived in areas around Tucson, Denver, Milwaukee, and Seattle during that time, and experienced all the seasons/weather throughout. Northwestern continuous rains, desert monsoons, Great Lakes wind chill, blizzards, hail storms, ice storms, Midwest thunderstorms, tornadoes, 120' desert dry heat, dust storms, changing/falling leaves, slushy/salty roads, melty-tar roads, fun snowmen, prickly cacti... all of it. It was fun sometimes, but I tell ya, I love So Cal best. More-or-less mild throughout the year, but desert, mountains (snow), beaches, etc. all within a relatively short-drive *IF* you want to visit.
