At first I laughed at "This game is life-ruiningly fun"......

Do it. You'll love it! You'll get such a kick out of seeing Otto jamming on the guitar or some classic building in your very own little Springfield. There a lot worse things you could spend your money...

Do it. No regrets at all. I will say that I waited to buy my boatload until Gil's Christmas deal - but dollars to time spent, you cant find a cheaper source of entertainment. Once you do go premium, I suggest pacing out your purchases so that you can extend the life of the game.
