This is why storing data on the cloud is a big danger. Especially with a game like this. They just need to make things locally stored, and just match up hash codes up or something to verify an account. There would much less issues as far as loading wrong towns and whatnot.

EA is always so backwards... Hell look at what they did with sim city 5. Only after a year they turned off online only mode in the game. Let's see how long it takes them to do that in this game. :?

My guess is that they won't do it until they have a catastrophic failure with the data.
...better hope they didn't cheap out on back-up servers.

It's fine now, I've updated on 2 devices, and didn't have any issues.
It's problem when the update first comes out and a ton of people are trying to access the servers at once.

just checked my town still missing

This blows. I've deleted and reinstalled the app several times and it takes me back to the holiday version. The redownload does not include the latest and greatest version.

As soon as i download the update, thats where I'm locked out and see the Bart screen, "Ugg not this screen again."

Mine is gone too.

I hate the android stuff,when I tried playing on my laptop last year with blue stacks,I could not load my town. I believe this is that town from blue stacks,a year or so ago.

I hope they figure this out soon,my feeder towns are fine and I can even see my main town is still correct when visiting.

They seem to always figure this out,during whacking day,my wife and I were both shut out for days,it came back.

Plus with no update any way,I am in no rush.

I've been playing since last August before the Android version and I'm now seeing the town that I would only see when I tried to log in using blue stacks. So, there's no way this is the town I was supposed to have all along.

Strange I might try looking into this a little myself when I get the chance.

Anyone with a glitched town (who already knows me) want to PM me so I can take a quick look at some things ?

So bummed my town is gone....

I have logged in and out...reinstalled..turned phone off and on... Stood on my head and said "Aye Karumba"...

Nothing works.

I was gonna wait too, but after 15 spins last night,I just gave up. I am sure they'll bring back this years stuff next year.
