bart and lisa skins generate event currency - tasks missing?

Bought the skins and thought I saw generates event currency in store. Might be mistaken because they don't have tasks or any way I can figure out how they do. Updated title as the store screenshots...

Using the re-gifting machine to protect the Simpsons house also gives currency. I feel like there is something missing in regards to currency. I just can't believe that there are no characters that give us currency.
