- Christmas '12. Got Barney for free along with Try N' Save, they also started the Christmas lights to get a head start on the 2 newer versions. Loved seeing snow (still do), loved that I could purchase the prizes and had a set goal. Perfect really. Krusty Studios also was released and one of the earliest premium purchases for me (Kang is still first).
- We dooo, we dooo...
- I voted for Whacking Day; it was my very first event in the game and it's still my favorite. I had just started playing, had next to no friends in-game, and I still managed to finish with every price! I was tapping like a madwoman though, I remember my boyfriend being mad because I was tapping in bed in the middle of the night and waking him up... I'd love to have a second go at it now with more experience and a full neighbours list.
Stonecutters is a close second, I really liked the daily riddle and the mechanics of that event were just generally well thought out; I also really like the Halloween events, 2013 being my favorite of the two I've been around for. - My first event was Easter. I didn't really know what I was doing, and still didn't have friends. Still, I tapped bunnies like crazy, and I ended up with a whopping 3 easter fences. And that's it. Most of my easter boxes came out baskets and other eggs, leaving me empty handed at the end of the event.
I was still pretty new with Stonecutters. I couldn't finish the quest line because I hadn't unlocked the town hall. I missed out on a lot of prizes I would have liked. Even so, I had a great time and got a lot of stuff that I enjoy.
I've completed all the events since then. I've enjoyed all of them, but I still think Stonecutters was my favorite of those I experienced. - Christmas 2012 - was the first event I had a full friends list for and was able to get everything and then some :D
So many bonus donuts and lovely items in those stockings.
I was there for Halloween but that was my way early tapping. I was a baby town that had my work mates. tralfabits wrote:
I'm obviously in the minority on this, but Clash of Clones was my favorite event. I loved being able to visit random towns and use the "cheaters" to blow up castles with ridiculously high levels. I do think the developers missed a lot of opportunities to tie the event into the Simpsons' world -- at least they got Boxingham Palace right.
Stonecutters was a huge frustration for me because I was relatively new and playing anonymously. I ran myself ragged trying to complete all the daily tasks and still didn't earn enough to win the big prizes like the table or Satan's Anvil.
CoC holds a special place in my heart just because it was my first event. Visiting random towns was super fun, too.mattruns84 wrote:

That was the one thing I really enjoyed about CoC, the random towns we got to see :DNOVA_POLARI wrote:

Nonsense. Most of us haven't played them all.
(It's actually quite interesting to me how many people have voted for an event being best simply because it was the first one they played.)
