Best Tablet For This Game

I've had a good deal of luck with my Nexus (but I've seen reports of huge problems on Nexus.)
I advise against any Galaxy tablets or phones, because many of them seem to really struggle with Tapped Out for some reason.
I also advise against any cheap off-brand anything, because even if it works at first, the OS updates will probably stop being supported much faster than for something like the Nexus.

Honestly, the best tablet for this game is probably the one you don't want.

Then we disagree. Some of it was highly inflammatory. Take it to PM if you want to, but this isn't the place for it.

Clearly we do disagree on what is considered to be flammable.

I've been using an iPad 3 since August 2012 & haven't had any issues whatsoever. I plan to eventually upgrade to a newer model

Same here. iPad 3 since game came out. Never any issues, game is fast and slick.

Just for comparison, the game flies on my iphone 6.

    Both are super-stable.
  • Since autumn 2012 I’m playing with an iPad2. At the time the iPad3 seemed to overheat a bit so I decided to go for the basic model. The good side if that choice was that although it fell quite a few times I only have a few bumps and not a shuttered screen. My favourite fall was on the door’s draft stop wood. It fell from 1 meter and landed with the side of the screen on the extended wood. Not a scratch. Anyway, since 2012 I’m fairly satisfied although I’m experiencing some lag after the 2014 THOH event.
  • obusly the best device to play on is one of those 3000$ devices that has 1tb storage 4g and 8gb ram.
  • I've been playing on a second gen Kindle Fire since June 2013 and have had no real issues (the occasional glitch but they happen on every platform I've ever used), except, like the UK user said, the Fire updates are slower than some but you can get round that by re-downloading the game if you're desperate (I did it last year for the Xmas update). Anyway I'm very happy with my Kindle Fire and you can't beat the price. That's my twenty-five cents anyway...

I wonder if it's just my Kindle, or if others have had the same problem? I'm curious because, if it's just my Kindle, I'll use my warranty and send it in. Anyone???

I play on kindle fire in the uk and don't haven't any problems at all. The only issue is sometimes later updates than others but all in all, very stable.

Thank you for telling me that. I thought that, maybe, it WAS a Kindle thing. But evidently, no one else seems to be having the problems that I've been experiencing. I finally contacted Amazon customer service. Evidently, the problems I'm having are NOT normal. Thankfully, I had purchased an extended warranty when I first bought my Kindle, and now they're sending me a new one!!! (I have to return the old one once I get it.) It has something to do with the processor just under the glass. Or, at least, that's what I got from all of the technical mumbo jumbo he tried explaining to me.
