Bonus donut glitch?

You don't get free donuts from collecting dynamite. The 2500 dynamite you collect after getting Carl Dad Cavern 10 dynamite and some xp. The only donuts you get from this event is on day 14. Bummer I know.

My status bar looked weird too. It looked like the first number was faded and couldn't clearly see how much dynamite I had.

I finished act 3 and it clearly says to collect currency for donuts. Maybe EA is misleading us?

Think what they mean by keep collecting currency to get donuts is keep collecting event currency so that you can make trade in thus getting 3 bonuts on the final day of the event, it could definitely have been worded better but that's what happens when you reuse old text from previous events in the latest version, if you check out the collection screen in the taskbook there is no mention of donuts in that screen at all.

Yes, 2 issues that I'm having. It's not spaced for 4 digits, and it says "Ready in" as if it was a timed event.

That's my issue exactly. I had that task bar and then it disappeared after I went to the general store. And I had not reached 2500 yet.

To be honest if you don't get the award for this task as it disappeared from the task book your not missing much anyway as it's only $1000 and 10 explosives for the prize anyway.

yeah mine finished too before 2500, but I also had the half visible "1" so maybe I had more than I thought or it's a glitch. Either way, there were no donuts after completion. Ironically, I bonutted up from XP right after while buying fences from the store.

That happened to me this morning. Try synchronizing...visit friends, squid port and then home again. Worked for me.
