Probably to give some people a chance to catch up as not everyone finish in time. - My husband got the sucky glitch and stopped playing for two days as he was told, until he got a second rep who told him to go ahead and play. They won't roll the game back (and at this point he doesn't want to, he'd lose too much progress). Game play is slow for him and he's still working on getting Nonna. I suspect EA knows this is the case for a lot of people, and that's why they made the event longer.
Me? I was done 5 days ago. I'm bored too. I could wait for everyone else to catch up but give me something new to play with in the interim - act 2 isn’t going to be that exciting for me and i’m sure i’m not alone. i have enough plunder to get 1 of each craftable items already
- 4junk30007 years agoNew SpectatorThis thread is interesting. Are you people reporting boredom, also people who've reached a level of stats that far exceed the majority of players? Is your bonus multiplier above 200%? Above 400%?
If so, and you are bored, i suggest you try playing Freemium. Sell or store all your multiplier items and bring your game back into align with the majority of newer players. Then you too can experience the "excitement" of anxiety that you may not get all the free items in time. Return to the "excitement" of having to choose only one premium item per event, because you only have <100 donuts. Restore that thrill of having to visit all your neighbors because every bit of event currency counts.
If you're bored because you increased your bonus so much that the game no longer provides a challenge, you have no one to blame but yourself. "4junk3000;c-1936396" wrote:

I totally agree with you. I play for over 2 years but my bonus is low(78% + 153% with Springfield Heights), because sometimes I prefer to buy a character than a bad decoration bug only to increase the bonus ...
Each time I finish the act only one or two days before the end, while I connect four times a day, but because I rarely buy items that help for the event.
It's true that I earn less donuts and so I can buy fewer things, but the game is always interesting!
Everyone does as he wants, premium or freemium, KEM farming or not, but don't complain about the ease of the game after (or play less ;) ).- Actually for me the game does provide a level of challenge. I am not finished three days into an event because my bonus multiplier is so astronomical that I can afford to rush everything with my gargantuan pile of donuts (really a boring option, IMO). On the other hand, I am not playing at some desperate, frenzied pace and worried that I won't finish in time. Most events for me can be finished within a day or so of the end of acts; in fact, two events ago I was actually down to the wire finishing acts with literally minutes to spare, because I wasn't logging in religiously (I had actual deadlines IRL). That is my preferred speed of gameplay.
No one wants to play as you suggest...not even the new players who may be struggling with this event (but I doubt it). I think people have a valid complaint this go round because of the sheer length of it, and the fact that EA cannot seem to get the glitch ironed out, which I believe is making the extension a necessity. It has nothing to do with making the game some kind of cakewalk. Any other of the recent events? Yes, I'd probably say that the players complaining have made things too easy. But this one is different.
