absolutely: witch Marge has a 4-hour task called "speed up a crop", in which she goes to the farm and reduces the current crop's timer by 4 hours (if it still has more than 4 hours to go) or half (if it's less than 4 hours to go). for growing corn, there's nothing better than repeatedly knocking time off that timer in 4-hour chunks, I think my last corn crop finished in about 52 days (give or take) because of constantly having Marge do her voodoo
