I never cared if visitors tagged my town. Go for it I say. On the others side of the coin, I don't tag other people in case they do care. It is part of the game. Too bad, though, it has a perceived negative effect (oh no! my beloved stars!) Would be cool with me if we had more tagging, egging and toilet papering :)
