Characters appearing behind buildings

My Simpsons Tapped Out game has suffered a weird glitch where all my characters have started appearing behind buildings and decorations I have put down recently. According to reddit, all that needs to be done to rectify this glitch is to log on to my game on an iOS device and it will appear normal and then to visit Krustyland and to 'go back' to Springfield to sync the game and then it'll work on my Android devices again.

Is anyone on this forum willing to log on to my game and do the above so I can enjoy Tapped Out again as it should be?
