While I doubt spAnner would put his name to anything that doesn't have a stong chance of happening, I'm going to chose to believe this is possible. The gift cards aspect seems weird, and I'm hoping the new items is only a fraction of what will be available. We've had some awesome updates and the speculation on this update seems cheap.

Time will only tell. I'm too excited for this update to start.

Every store is promoting gift cards during Christmas maybe it's EA's way of saying get some iTunes gift cards to spend on donuts.

Hopefully we get the donut bonus if we hit a certain amount of taps on whatever we are tapping for christmas
