- On my freemium town I was behind for some reason with the gingerbread house, I realized the characters would literally be done the last task 1 hour after the change over to act two. That morning when I woke around 9am and tapped it, the gingerbread house fully upgraded however I can't remember if I got the event currency or money or nothing for it. So if you were on the last task I would assume yours too would have fully upgraded.
- Sorry this happened to you, I'm sure it was frustrating.

dude you had enough time to upgrade all the things. If you planned things more you could have gotten everything.
My Act 1 auto start the week after decorating Ned's house didn't auto start, so I started the quests too late to be able to complete them once I had manually updated the game.direwolf987 wrote:

We had no warning that the Gingerbread House would become incompleteable (is that even a word?) when it switched over to Act 2. I agree that they should have let us complete it without donuts. However, it would not have stopped you from getting your 20 weekly donuts. In my feeder town, my Gingerbread House is stuck on Level 4, and I was about 900 hats away from completing Act 1, but I've gotten 20 donuts every week.
According to the internet, yes and no. Incompletable is a word, you just spelled it wrong   :P
Haha, thanks. :)- 434,000,000 in game cash?
Jeepers - spend 5 donuts on the xp accelerator, then go nuts buying blood mobiles!
These give the best return in terms of xp and the accelerator multiplies that by 5.
You'll max out the xp easily, a bunch of times and build up a nice stack of bonuts. Use those the avoid this situation in future. Ros418 wrote:

Well then you should have updated the game earliertebright1 wrote:

This is the problem. The fact that interrupting one's sleep schedule should even be a fringe option let alone an expectation is nonsense.larsyuipo wrote:

Yup, helpful advice that, but sadly too late.wildminion wrote:

I hate to think how many donuts that would translate too... Everytime I reach 10 million, I convert to donuts with the Tiki Bar and blow the lot.
Oh and the ratio of dollars spent is the same for any item. Anything that sells @ 50,000 cash or above works equally as well for XP00SauronHimself wrote:

It's not an "expectation". As harsh as it may sound, the only "expectation" that seems to arise with these Events is that you can get everything even with only playing sporadically.
It sucks that players couldn't finish off those building in Act 2 (even if they just paid out cash rewards instead for finishing a level). It really does.
But on the flipside, to get to L5 for BOTH buildings in Act 1 takes 126hrs of tasks in total, including a couple of 2-sets to complete the task (assuming you're >L41 & have all freemiums up to that. Even then, 90-95% of characters needed are below L30). That's 5.25 days worth, for a period covering 11 days. If you can't check in at least 3x a day (i.e. morning, lunchtime/early afternoon & evening) that's the minimum you really need to do to finish them, well... that's not EA's fault.
It may seem harsh, but EA has to cater for all sorts of players. And if they gift the prizes to dedicated, regular tappers so early in an event, players lose interest very quickly... hurting their bottom-line.
